"SIN!" The booming voice of an angry woman echoed through the palace. Jafar, who was laying down in his chambers as ordered by a terrifying physician, sighed - which then made him erupt into a nasty coughing fit.
It wasn't unusual that the said woman would bellow at the top of her lungs at Sindria's king. In fact on most days he would welcome the sound knowing that he'd have less of Sinbad's work to do, however, today it was as if Masrur kicked him with all his strength on his head... Not that he actually knew what if felt like - nor did he want to find out - however he imagined it would hurt quite a bit.
At that precise moment the doors of his chambers flew open, causing Jafar to spring out of bed fearing the worst, allowing a blur of purple to enter before slamming shut. The blur of purple - now identified as the demon Sinbad himself - leaned against the doors for a moment, muttering something or another before taking a deep breath before yelling at the speed of light.
"HIDE ME!!!!" Sinbad then ran to the far side of the room out of plain sight and hid behind the curtains taking care that his feet were hidden. Jafar just stood at the foot of his bed, his mouth opening and closing slightly, unable to understand what just happened. He then put his hand to his face in slight annoyance, he was not in the mood for this.
Suddenly a gentle knocking sound was heard from his door.
"Jafar? I am coming in alright?" The woman Sinbad was running from asked from the hallway before slowly and as quietly as she could opened the door and slipped into his chambers. Her face was looking towards the ground before looking up at him as she closed the door with the same gentleness. When she saw him her eyes widened like saucers, rushing over to him.
"Jafar, what are you doing out of bed? The doctor said you weren't allowed to leave it!" She said concern laced every word she spoke. She led him back to his bed and he sat down.
"I am alright (Y/N). You don't need to worry, I just wanted some water." Jafar said covering for his king, not wanting to concern (Y/N) even more. She looked at him with a grim expression.
"Are you sure?" She asked cautiously looking at him with her adorable (E/C) eyes.
"I'm sure, my head hurts terribly and my blocked nose is stopping me from sleeping but overall I'm great." He said. He mentally hit himself, how stupid of him! He didn't want it to sound so sarcastic, now she'd probably blame herself. Worryingly gazing at her he saw she now wore a guilty expression and was fidgeting .
"It was because of my yelling at Sin wasn't it? I'm sorry Jafar, it was heartless of me." She said her gaze still stuck to the floor. How did he know she would react like this?
They had been close friends for a while always teaming up to prevent - or as it was most of the time - solve, the troubles that the King of Sindria seemed to create wherever he went. For some reason she had the ability to talk sense into Sin when no one could. Jafar had come to admire (Y/N), and not just as a friend either. He wanted to become closer to her, however due to his own inexperience with these sorts of emotions, he never really knew how to discuss this sort of thing with her without insulting her.
"No, it's not that. I have been under a lot of stress recently so my mind can't relax." He said hoping that she would cheer up. He was right - a small smile graced her lips, he loved her smile.
"Okay. Well if that's the case then I think I may have a solution for it." She said. He gave her a curious look and she giggled. She climbed onto his bed and sat on her knees, motioning him to lay his head on her lap. Slightly red in the face he complied and soon he was comfortably resting on her lap. She raised her hands to his temples and began gently rubbing them. Almost immediately he felt relief and sighed in contentment.
"Does this feel any better" she asked after a while.
"Yes, thanks. Much better." He said fighting the urge to sleep. She smiled and gently kissed his forehead, which caused his eyes to shot open and gaze at her. She paused what she was doing locked in his gaze. After a while of staring Jafar spoke:
"I love you (Y/N)." his eyes shining. (Y/N) grinned.
"I love you too Jafar." She whispered continuing to massage his temples. Humming in contentment he slowly drifted off to sleep...
Meanwhile, behind the curtains, Sinbad was on edge. He was waiting for a chance at a clean escape... However... It seemed it wasn't going to go as he had planned...
Because, he really, REALLY needed to go to the bathroom.

Reassurance | Ja'far x Reader
Ja’far woke with a start.
His heart pounded in his chest at just the mere memory of his reoccurring nightmare. His worries only began to ease once his black eyes adjusted to the darkness and spotted you laying sound asleep in bed beside him. He managed to breathe out a shaky sigh of relief when he realized you were unharmed. It was only a dream. At least, this time it was.
He slowly slid out of bed, being careful not to wake you. The salty breeze of the nearby ocean wafted through his senses and compelled him towards the bedroom balcony. Even the nights in Sindria were warm and beautiful. Not a cloud was to be seen in the

The trip to Sindra didn't turn out to be quite as you had expected. You had ended up expending most of the time talking with King Sinbad, just because Masrur apparently wasn't much of a talker, and Ja'far, much for your distress, had made sure of keeping as much distance from you as possible.
You weren't sure of the reason why, but the white haired man was avoiding you like the plague, and that was a hard thing to do when you are stuck on a ship.
It wasn't like he was being rude of bad-mannered, but, for example, If he happened to go into the Kitchen and you were already there, he would quickly bow, say something like "good morning, Princes

Once the introductions were made, your father asked King Sinbad to sit next to him, while you sited at the other side of your father. You were bored to death, listening to the two men talking about sea routes and political issues. It wasn't like you didn't care, It was just that you have heard your father had the same conversation hundreds of times and besides, for them it was like you weren't even there.
Looking around the room you gaze kept drifting to the white haired man that was waiting in the back of the room. On more than one occasion you had caught his deep green eyes also looking at you too. You had also noticed the amusement printe
